Guys. I actually DO live in this AU with butstopmininova. And let me tell you, it rocks.

We go on extended walks all the time and talk about Batman*, adorable babies, Korra, social issues, Young Justice, things wee need to vent… anything really. And we use internet speak like, “I just have a lot of feels about him” ect. Is your neighbor that awesome? I think not.

GUYS, remember that time my best tumblr friend  best friend lived across the street? And we were generally cooler than everyone else?

#OH I ABSOLUTELY LOVE THIS #Because for once it doesn’t concentrate on JUST the main companions (though River doesn’t fall under that category… Well and Jack/Face of Boe) #It focuses on the minor characters #the ones that only got one or two episodes #One a fleeting moment or two to prove their worth #and it shows us that even though they’re not the MAIN companions #the Doctor still believes in all of them - finds them all to be brave and strong and good#Jade who gave up her life so he could save everyone #Lynda with a Y who stayed to hold off the Daleks when she could have ran #Luke (knowing he messed up with the Sontarans) who sacrificed himself to buy the Doctor time to save the planet from the poisoned air #The Hostess who gave up her own life to drag the Creature with her out onto Midnight (and they never even caught her name) #Every single one of these characters gave up their lives to save others; save the planet; save the Doctor#They were brilliant and strong and though they might not have always been ‘The Best’ - they were all always brave

Things I love: my job

And reading lovely books. DURING work. 

And best friends driving me to work and offering me free ice cream. Even if I couldn’t eat it, and then the fact they don’t give me crap for confusing “red” and “purple” when I’m trying to talk. 

And running into friends I haven’t seen in forever. Who sing at me in public to get my attention. 

And talking about RPing with my co-workers. Even though they’re grown men. 

And re-watching amazing movies with my little brother and his best friend. And shouting along with our favourite quotes. 

And good rock and roll. Especially since I finally got new headphones. 

And the promise of Tea Parties tomorrow. Tea Parties with PIE. 

And equally good sequels. REALLY good sequels. 

And french fries. Really awful, perfect french fries. 

And just good days.
